Ray leaving I believe closes any window on this team winning the Atlantic this year. I'm hoping to god Dallas matches this deal and JET stays in Dallas, Ray goes to the Heat and we can give the keys to the youngsters. Finally get to see what Moore can do with extended minutes in his 2nd season.

Moore is very unlikely to get extended minutes this year. I'd expect one of the first calls Ainge would make if Ray leaves would be to Pietrus's agent.

I'm sure Danny has a plan B,C, or D if Ray decides to leave. The Celtics are certainly being built to win now. That's why KG came back.

Raise your hand if you think that we're closer to the title with ray in the heat as opposed to the celts.

I thought so (because anyone that does is clueless).

For all those dogging ray, this is really the only point that matter.

We shouldn't be going for a title, let Bradley get the minutes and the experience. He's ready to be an NBA starter, I'd also love to see what Sullinger can do as our starting 4, Start the Youth Movement!

Ainge brought back KG with the full intention of contending though...

He can use KG to tutor Melo and Sullinger and get them ready for when they are title contenders again.
Like what another poster stated they brought him back for contention. He's there to bridge the gap too but bringing him back and signing Jason Terry lets me know he wants to compete and win another championship.

OK, I can't say that I want Ray to go to Miami (I don't), but I just don't understand how this is the best way for them to use all of their meaningful money to offer when they have so many wings already and such a glaring need for help at the PF/C.

Moore will probably not be on the team. Ainge said that Moore needs to show something this summer. As is, with Rondo, Terry, Bradley, and possibly Dooling, you'll have 4 guys 6-2 and under.

2morrow is a big day for #HeatNation..

From D-Wades Twitter...

I don't have a good feeling about this...  :-\

Lebron also showed some Ray Allen love on his twitter. You gotta wonder why PP and RR are quiet in twitter when it comes to this matter. Maybe they know Ray's decision already?
Theyre probably (I  hope they are) talking to him and wooing him off of social media. I hope KG is too since he's not retiring and I heard Doc say he's been talking to him almost everyday.
