The Heat have one weakness, and it's size.  If we hit them with a big lineup we can beat them, and just about anyone.

Ok, we have KG.  I think we definitely need to keep Jeff Green before getting Ray back.

What I want to know is do we have enough to get a legit 5, who could make a difference against the Heat?

If Steamsma, Green and Pietrus stay we have 12 players under contract and 3 open spots:
Rondo/Moore
Bradley/Pietrus
Pierce/Green
Sullinger/JJJ/S Williams
KG/Steamsma/Melo

The list for starting centers is:
Duncan (zero chance)
Kaman (could get more but might want to win)
Camby
Hawes (probably wants too much $)
Hickson (a PF but could work well with Rondo)

I guess if we miss out on Green we would need a cheaper option at the 3:
Dorrell Wright(trade- they will want H Barnes to start)
T-Mac
Josh Howard
Grant Hill
Gerald Green

Other potential value guys that we could get cheap:
Hinrich
Antawn Jamison
Kidd
Delonte
Thabeet
Shannon Brown
Sam Young
Aaron Gray

If I could do things realistically I would:
Forget about Ray
Re-sign Green, Pietrus and Steamsma
Sign and trade Bass for Dorrell Wright
Sign Camby and Shannon Brown or Sam Young

Rondo/Bradley/Moore
Wright/Brown or Young
Pierce/Pietrus
Green/Sullinger/JJJ/S Williams
KG/Camby/Steamsma/Melo

You'd have size, speed, flexibility for to go big at the wings or PF and the option to go small and fast.  Every player but maybe Sullinger is a good defender.

Kg is more effective at center, the heat had more problems with us then against any team with a traditional center. There are no good centers...plugging in a crappy center makes us worse.l. especially against the heat..my opinion. Unless you have a prime shaq somewhere
