Now we have the draft out of the way we are going into free agency. This is the part of the summer which Danny Ainge will either be praised or hated by Celtic fans.

We still have Stiemsma's QO if he accepts it. KG and Ray could come back for less money to strengthen our roster. If Ray leaves and KG retires we could take a look at O.J. Mayo and bring back Bass. Not exactly great replacements for future hall of fame players, but they can play within their roles. We also should be able to bring back Green and Wilcox if they don't ask for too much. I'm not so sure about Bass, Pietrus, Dooling, Daniels, Sasha, Hollins, and Williams. Besides Bass none of them really made me feel like they deserve a roster spot.

We still need a starting center because I don't think Stiemsma or Melo could start right away. Also a back up PG for Rondo would be great. I would look at free agency and try to sign Hinrich and Kaman.

PG: Rondo/Hinrich
SG: Bradley/Allen or Mayo/Moore
SF: Pierce/Green/Joseph
PF: Garnett or Bass/Wilcox/Johnson/Sullinger
C: Kaman/Stiemsma/Melo

This all relies on KG coming back and if Ray decides to stay. I rather have KG and Ray than Bass and Mayo. Also, I haven't figured out the salary for this roster so Hinrich and Kaman could realistically not happen. Might have to settle for Bass instead of Kaman and Dooling instead of Hinrich. Could Danny just be reloading this season and delaying the rebuilding process for next year?
