Sign free agents BEFORE draft???

I like what the NFL does. Have free agency before the NFL draft. That way teams can select their team needs if the couldnt address them in free agency.
Have free agency start July 1st in NBA. Then have the NBA draft July 20th. That way if a team like the Celtics couldnt sign or trade for a center, then they could find one in the draft.
Anyone else agree?

PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Summer League starts the 15th, I believe. I'm all for tinkering to allow this, though. It'd definitely make trading easier.

Eh, I disagree with the idea behind it. The draft should never be used to fill holes on a roster. Always pick the best guy left on the board and fill your needs with free agents.
