Yeah.

Now today is going to feel like something big is looming when nothing may even break at all.

Is this sourced from the same fake SAS twitter account that Jarrett Jack cited?

Somebody replied back to Booby's tweet saying that a Fake KG account tweeted that he was retiring, so its probably just another false rumor

Ok, then I'm sorry everyone. Just saw it on ESPN and figured they wouldn't retweet it without verifying. I'm not smart sometimes. Often, actually.

I can't believe that Windhorst would re-tweet without verifying

I can't see KG announcing via Twitter.  Doesn't seem his style.

While this is obviously fake, I'm surprised it really hasn't been thought about more on here.

If KG retires, it is time to rebuild. I would strongly consider talking to Pierce and asking him if he'd restructure his contract or give him a handful of teams and pick one he'd like to be traded to.

To be fair to Windhorst, he wasn't retweeting something from an unverified account.  He was retweeting something from a real account that belongs to a real NBA player.  Gibson is the one who should be more careful.

Perhaps Daniel Gibson is the one retiring. That seems more likely.

But Windhorst is a prominent professional journalist at the world's largest sports news empire. The onus is on him, IMO.
