At first when I read it, I thought Celtics interviewed Machine Gun Kelly

I had a dream Danny selected a linebacker with the 22nd pick.  And no, it wasn't Royce White.

I would never let Danny Ainge near my car. He is an obsessive tire-kicker.

MKG = The Rondo of SFs. Always sticking his nose under the basket trying to grab rebounds , when he has no business trying at times. Can't shoot that great. Good athlete and works hard

Drummond = Deandre Jordan meets Blake Griffin. Just likes to dunks everything at sight. And he can do it majority of the time also. Crazy hops and strength for 6'11 guy. Fundamentals are not his greatest strength. Who needs footwork , when you can dunk on people anyways right?

Barnes = Lebron James like body and athleticism, but timid mentally. Too passive at times. Can't create his own shot nor passes well. Like a Marvin Williams with a touch of lebron

Love MKG, like Drummond, absolutely hate Harrison Barnes. Unless someone can show me how you make him quit playing afraid, trading up to get him could be a disaster.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

as well as a ton of guys going at around 20, and also late 1st rounders...

it seems obvious danny's just preparing for anything and everything to happen if there's an opportunity on draft night... this is what he does. i remember last season he worked out a 300 pound canadian footballer... he leaves no stone unturned.

i don't think there's a set plan for next season atm... what do you guys think???

I completely agree that he's just preparing for whatever comes his way. I don't exactly think that's particularly earth shattering, though. Pretty much any GM in the league is going to workout a bunch of guys, regardless of where they pick. You never know when a deal might come along that you just can't pass up that will change your draft plan. If someone in Sacramento lost his mind and offered the #5 pick for peanuts to the Celtics, it'd be a good for Ainge to know who he'd want.

I hope we don't just settle for some marginal players in this draft. I think Danny knows we have a real chance to get a guy that can come in and be the new face of the franchise right now. And that is a good thing with the talent that is available in this draft.

Gilchrist/Beal/Barnes would all be top tier athletic guys to go after.

My choice would be Drummond, high risk but extremely high reward, but I don't think that he gets past the Bobcats.

If MJ picked Kwame, being the inveterate gambler that he is, he has to "believe" that he can't whiff twice and will go with the big gamble.
