Let me preface this by saying I share in the adoration and loyalty to Doc just as much as the next person.  And this in no way takes away from his in game ability as a coach.  But where I think he fails is long term prepartion.  He seems very short cited both in games and in regards to the team.  To some degree it's worked out, but I can note a few occasions in particular where his ineptness really hurt the team.  The 2010 game 7 finals comes to mind as he drilled the starters for what seemed 10 straight minutes before calling a timeout, even though they were clearly tired and LA was making a serious run.  I think that inevitably cost us the game.  His loyalty to his vets have been a detriment to the development of this team this year as well.  Think about it,  If JO, wilcox, Ray dont go down, we rarely see Steimsma and bradley.  Morover, they never gain that invaluable in game experience to prepare them for the years to come.
  Etuan moore continues to show he has skill yet he gets mop up duty when he could give any one of the guards a 1-2 minute break during the game. Sean Williams, sasha...same thing.
  Doc goes with what he knows instead of trying to be a bit more creative.  And many times when something is working...ie..Pietrus going off against Philly, the zone against Miami, Moore leading the rally against Orlando..he dumps it.
 Granted, this isn't always the case, but in all honesty, if this team next year is gonna progress, Doc has got to play his young players and limit the vets minutes.  I hope he has at least that much long term intuition to do so.
