As much of it as is possible, will be DVRing most games if I'm out to dinner or otherwise busy.

I'd watched a lot more if they didn't start so late.  It was difficult to watch the Celtics starting at 8:30.  With the games starting at 9 and the Celtics not in the finals, I don't think I will be watching the entire thing.

My question, how many 13 year olds will be watching Durant and Lebron dueling it out in the 4th quarter when the games start at 9:15?  Probably pretty few which I think is a shame

Yea it's too bad really, you think the NBA would want to attract new young fans, and the best way to do that is with games that start earlier.  But I guess the east coast kids will have to suffer in that regard.

Though I'm surprised that the Sunday games start at 8 and not something like 6 or so.

How much of the NBA finals will you watch? If you're a die-hard basketball fan, then you're watching. Unfortunately it will not be Celtics/Spurs, but the Heat/Thunder match might be intriguing as well. I wish some in the media would try not to make this finals series about James and Durant, but more about both teams.

I can't stand the Miami Heat, for many reasons, but that's for another day. I'll watch the game. I won't watch ESPN/ABC's the pre-game or post-game analysis. Can't bare to listen to the ESPN Countdown crew.

+1

Maybe just the highlight is good enough for me. Okok...if the thunder is doing some serious pounding on the heat, I may watch the final min of the last game  ::)

If the Celtics were in it all of it, but since I am still recovering from the heartbreaking lose to our boys, none of it!

A potential OKC clincher and that's probably about it.

On a bit of basketball burnout right now.

All of it. Rooting for the Heat.

With Bosh back and playing well, I am predicting Heat sweep or Heat in 5.

Why do you think Miami has such a large advantage?

I'm undecided.

Because I can't stand the way Mike Breen plays up to the emotion of the crowd, I will probably watch some or most of the OKC home games.

Watching the games in Miami will be near impossible without headphones or a mute button.

I am already sick of the media coverage, and the narrative of James vs. his "good, good friend" Durant. This is yet another reason why the Celtics or Spurs making the finals would have been better: we'd be talking about teams. Instead, it's a tale of two figureheads, and Stern is probably giggling like a baby as he rolls around in his bathtub full of hundred dollar bills.

Hopefully, something happens on the court to shift the attention away from individual players.

Probably 4/5 games.

I'm not going out of my way to see the games like I would for the Celtics.

It depends on how convenient it is.

I feel the OKC Thunder are a great younger team on the rise, but they do not have the experience of the pressures of the NBA Finals. Their experience is lacking, that is #1.

#2 is they are not as good as a defensive squad as the C's. I don't feel like they will be able to "shut down" Wade as well as we did.

#3 Durant has to face Lebron, can Durant keep up his elite play against Lebron?
