I noticed that Rondo didn't like Ray in his Postgame 6 pressconference.

He was asked, "Ray said there was anger in the locker room after game 6", Rondo responded "I wasn't angry myself, i'm looking forward to game 7"

So yeah they don't like each other you could tell.

ehhhh... I don't put much stock in this, especially because Ray has been around the league and been on bad teams. There are pro athletes and they don't always get along. But wherever Ray goes - if the team is good - he will have other alpha dogs that he might not get along with, and that he may not fit in with.

agreed, all listed are professionals and will  do whatever is needed to win
i seem to remember ray not liking kg's cussing when he first arrived, to me ray has to know that rondo improves rays scoring opportunities
i can see paul and rondo butting heads more

Old news and probably greatly exaggerated.

I'll second the "probably greatly exaggerated"

BTW, now that the offseason is here for the Cs, get ready to hear all sorts of crazy stuff about Rondo, his attitude, and Danny Ainge trying to trade him.

Yawn.

Wake me up when there's real news.
Celtics fan for life.

Personally I think its  probably because Rondo preferred to play with Avery towards the end of the season because he finally had somebody that could keep up with him and would defend the other teams best guard.

I would agree with this statement totally. The Celtics are a totally different team when AB is on the floor compared to Allen. AB ran cuts and back doors and found open floor that Rondo wouldn't have to stand at the top of the 3 point line and dribble down the clock for 14 seconds waiting for Ray to get a separation from his man just to get a shot off.  It totally breaks up the flow of our offense. Rondo looks so annoyed having to stand there with his man 10 feet off of him waiting to throw it to ray for a 3 off balance.. sure sometimes it drops and you cant understand how other than he's the best shooter ever to live but it just is hard to watch everyone stand around waiting for this to materialize. And oooo yea there's that thing about playin D tooooo...

Eh, that doesn't mean they can't or won't play together.

Co-workers p--- you off sometimes.

Rondo isn't the easiest guy to get along with by all reports, but I don't think this will be "the reason" he goes elsewhere if he does.

I mean there are a lot of other factors the biggest one being Bradley taking his starting spot and at 30+ MPG eating into his role on the team.

I've said this on a couple of threads, but I think Ray should start (if healthy) and AB off the bench. Firstly AB is the only guy capable of spelling Rondo. Secondly Ray's minutes need to be managed, easier to do as a starter.

They're just two completely different people.  What are the odds that you can cramb 12-15 guys together that all get along great and they can still win a lot of games.

This is why Doc is so important and great at what he does.

If Ray leaves it won't be because of Rondo and if it was because of Rondo then he sure as heck wouldn't want to play with Lebron.

Bradley's also more injury prone.

This is the first time I'm hearing it...I'm always weary of rumors like that. Has he been in the lockerroom?

Anything else of note he said?

This has been pretty widely reported.  I believe Jackie McMullen wrote a piece about it, and I have heard other reporters discuss it as well.

The reason I want Bradley in the starting line up is I want his minutes to line up more with Paul's. You can manage mintues as starters/off bench/whenever.

Having a second quick guard/wing out there made a world of difference. Ray/PP as a wing combo is showing its age with the lack of athleticism and quickness.

Yeah, this has been something that has been around for a few years now. Since the 2010 season, maybe 2009. Ray and Rondo. Sometimes Rondo and Pierce.

By the sounds of it, there are some issues there but they don't appear to be anything major otherwise something bigger would have happened by now. A minor situation.

I wouldn't get worked about it. It won't impact the decision for Ray to stay or for Danny to want to keep him. It's just some minor squabbling between teammates that happens from time to time.

Teams are like families. People get mad at each other, people get sick of each other.

That being said, I wouldn't mind too much if Ray Allen was playing somewhere else next season. Played a nice game 7 but you can see that some of his skill has dropped considerably.

Just don't go to the Heat, Ray.  If you do, nobody will like you.

ray can go elsewhere if hed like, but hell be sorry when his shooting percentages go back down because rondo isnt hitting him with perfect passes.
