I realize everyone has the jitters right now, but I do believe once this game ends we will be on our way to the finals.

It's the Heat who need to be pacing the floor wringing their hands. They have not had an adjustment so far that has worked since game 2. We're in game 6, there really is nothing more that they can throw at us. They are not going to magically figure out how to beat our defense. They are not going to find an antidote to Rondo all of a sudden. We haven't won these games by luck, we have outplayed them and fought for these wins. There has been a definite tend that has been established in the last few games that favors us.

If we come to play, and we execute, we will win. As long as we don't have one of those games where we miss everything we throw at the rim, we'll be fine. Seeing that PP and Rondo had a game like this two nights ago, I highly doubt that we'll see that happen for a second straight game.

Yes, they have Bosh back, but that doesn't spell doom for us. His 13 minute stint is no indication of how he will play tonight. People are acting as though we were winning these games without their best player, and now that the ostrich is back, we might as well get prepared for gm 7. Like Jeff, I don't buy that he's healthy enough to contribute big anyway. We beat Miami in meaningful games with him, there is no reason to think that will change now.

We have more to lose this series than the Heat. I fully expect to see an effort tonight that will go down in Celtics lore.

Bring it.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

agreed, we played horrendous last game and still won. we ain't playing that bad again or anywhere near that. not at home. forget about it. The adjustments ended during game 4. There is nothing left as you stated. I also do not think Bosh is  as ready as many say. Some said he was not himself defensively which is a HUGE plus for us. I also think Lebron and Wade try to do more to carry their team thus forcing bad shots thus causing their role players to stay cold and stale for most of the night due to non-involvement. Another must win game for the C's. Nothing new for us. Just the 4th in a row.

MIAMI MUST BE DESTROYED
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Definitely feel confident.

I don't think it's a sure-thing but things are shaping up well.

I expect the fan base to be a little nervous.  The team, on the other hand, is going to come out and perform.  The Celts have been here before.

Yeah, the team's confidence rightfully should be sky high. Believing you're going to win no matter what is important.

Leaves the nail chewing for LBJ and myself.

There's a lot of pressure on both teams tonight - the Heat to avoid elimination and all the media second-guessing they'll get, and the C's to avoid the road Game 7 that has knocked them out 2 of the next 3 years.

The difference is that pressure makes our team play better and makes the Heat fall apart.  Nothing's guaranteed but that's why I'm confident tonight.
