Wade AND Bosh for Howard + filler.

Just trying to make it realistic for Orlando.
Wade is realistic for Orlando.  I mean what team can offer a better package than Wade and I mean that seriously.
Bynum is the only comparable piece. Not the same level of player but he's a lot younger. Both are rather injury prone though, at least Wade is signed for the rest of his prime. Bynum only has one year left on his deal just like Howard.

I just don't see them being able to but together a win now team around Wade. It'd be similar to the 2009-2010 Heat roster....

I just think that Orlando's not going to be able to shed all their other major salary commitments, so they can't do a full-on rebuild; they need to sell tickets.  IIRC, their finances were a little questionable even when they were a contender and selling out every game.  Wade will move tickets; I don't think Bynum really does.

And I don't see why they'd be able to hold out for Bosh AND Wade; there isn't a better potential trade out there for them.

Wouldn't Mike D'Antoni love to coach the Heat?

Players don't really sell tickets, they sell some jersey's but really that's it.

You have to win games to sell tickets. (and even then its not a given just look at the Indiana Pacers)

Please don't jinx us, let's take care of the Heat first.  Everyone assumes it's over.  If they come in and beat us in Boston guess what, we have to go back to Miami for game 7.  Do you think we can beat the heat 2 times in their building, especially back to back?  Visit this post after the season.

I think Boston is perfectly capable of winning again in Miami, just as Miami can win tomorrow in Boston.

Two very even teams right now, hence why we've had two OT games and 1 game that came down to the last 42 seconds when Pierce canned that three and then Boston got the single stop they needed.

I know they are capable of winning in Miami I am just sick of reading and hearing that the Heat are done.  Is ESPN or other sports writers writing off the Spurs? No they aren't.  I am hoping the Celtics win Thursday like everyone else who's a Celtics fan, I just don't as fans want to write them off.  They are a very dangerous team, and love him or hate him, LeBron can single handedly win game 6 for them.  That was my point.

what about Wade to the Pistons for Stuckey, Monroe, Jerebko, and draft pick?

That gives Heat 4 pieces to put around James and Bosh.

Detroit still has Wil Bynum, Gordon, Prince, and Villenueva. They drafted Brandon Knight last year. They could get the 27th pick from the Heat and they also pick 39th and 44th.

Its a lot to give up for Wade, but he would make them a legit team and sell tickets.  For the Heat, you are giving up a 30 year old for a 25, 26, and 22 year old.  Monroe, the 22 year old being the centerpiece.

I don't think Riley would hire a D'Antoni type coach.

Riley will want someone in his own image to continue legacy-building.

Not anywhere near enough value for Wade.

Aren't we speculating a little too early here????

I know what will happen to the Heat. They will travel to Boston and play Game Six in a must win game for them. That game happens in thirty one hours from this posting.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I agree. Nets could put together an interesting package for wade. Lopez and humphries as the centerpieces. All of a sudden heat are strongest down low.

Maybe lowry, scola, and martin from houston.

Plenty of mutually beneficial trades out there.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

if we end up beating them this series (no given yet, though we obviously have a good shot at it), i think there will be some major changes. Mostly because...yeah, Bosh was hurt, but we're playing without Bradley, without Wilcox, without Green, and with Ray and Paul still pretty hurt. Oh, and we're old...and have had little rest this postseason to recover. The Heat excuses die with us.

I think they still have the Fire Spoelstra card to play first before they break up their Two and a Half Men, so if they make a coaching change, they'll keep James/Wade/Bosh together for one more season.
