game 1 loss by 14. Many people lost faith in the Celtics beating Heat because it seem like they dominated but i've got reasons to be positive.Celtics were 1 good quarter away from winning game 1 , so let me explain why i think Celtics will win.

I'm going to use game 2 Spurs-Thunder as a example. That game is the best example of how not 2 but 3 stars could be outscored by a good team. Durant,Westbrook,Harden scored 88pts and still lost the game. Spurs are great offensive team better than Celtics but learn from them. If They outscored 3 stars Celtics can outscore 2 stars. What Spurs did? Share the ball and attack in the paint.

My point was that Celtics will win only with offense in these series, not with defense. Interesting stat is that Heat averaged 97pts per game in the regular season but only 90 against CEltics. In game 1 they score 93. They got two guys scoring and no suporting cast and with our defense i don't care if lebron scored 32 and wade 22 because Heat can't score more than 95 against Celtics.

most important thing about this series: DON'T TRY TO STOP WADE AND LEBRON, TRY TO OUTSCORE THEM. OUR STARTING UNIT NEED TO OUTSCORE JUST 2 GUYS , 5 AGAINST 2

How to do it?

We prove we can score 115 in the regular season against them, and that 35point second quarter gives me a lot of hope that it's posible outscoring them.

Rondo and Garnett are obviously matchup advantage.

What Rondo should do is control the pace of the game create open midrange jumpers for Bass and KG. We need 15asists from Rondo not 7

What KG needs to do is to get a good position inside and have another 20/10 game

Than you will ask yourself if we are that capable offensivly why we finish the game with 79 points?

The answer is tha Spoelstra used a little bit of 76ers defense. Knowing that Celtics have adventage in the paint he fills the paint with more bodies 2 or 3 bodies when Celtics attack to the hoop. Good defense by the Heat but like i sad before learn from the Spurs. Don't settle for jumpers but if you have open jumper take it. Pierce should continue to drive to the basket but when 2 defenders go at him instead of getting blocked pass out in the corner for three. Rondo and Pierce were blocked 8 times. Why? because when they drive to the basket they got at least two guys helping in the paint. Just drive, get double team and pass out. Than if we start hitting shots there will be more space in the paint. Be smart play smart share the ball be patient and sudenly will will have at least 2 good quarters and will outscore them.

The problem is the other guys did kill us

Battier, Mike Miller both had 8 or 9 points

thats all they really need

but i agree we need to focus more on better offense than better defense as sad and crazy as that sounds

yes Miller and Battier hit some shots but that's not a good supporting cast. I'm more worried about Battier defense than offense. Defensivly just play that zone and make them shoot threes. they were 5-25 for 3. To many shots taken so let them take those shots. They got some guys who can hit three but better a three point attempt than easy dunk by lebron

bingo. and if we put two big guys on the floor down low all game it will wear on miami.

  Paul Pierce needs to have a vintage Paul Pierce game tonight if we are going to take game 2.   We're getting very little from Ray and due to his injury I don't expect that to change.  We can't beat Miami if KG is our only consistent scoring option.  Roll players don't normally step up on the road in the playoffs so we need a big game from Pierce.

It would help if Ray Allen would score 15 points at least, preferably more. KG, Rondo, and Paul Pierce get 55 between them. More importantly we need our role players like Bass, Pietrus, Dooling, Marquis Daniels and even Greg Stiemsma to get thirty points and take up minutes while beating My Hammy's backups and grinding on the big two.

We will never get a fair shake from the referees but we should play smarter and harder than My Hammy and not let these unethical pr---s get in our head like they did in Game 1.

Vintage Paul Pierce is not walking through that door.  But we could use a 20 pt, 6 rebound, 5 assist game, with 2 3-pointers from him.  Combine that with a KG 20-12 and a Rondo 15-8-15 and now we are talking.

1.play alot of stemisma & KG together and run the zone.
2.don't allow any "and 1" be rough with lebron and wade every time they go inside.
3. don't allow mario,jones,battier,miller to kill us with 3's!!.
4.beat Miami defense with instant smart great passing.
5.in game 1 every miami player basically followed rondo every time he went inside he needs to use that to his advantage and find the opening man.

PP, RA need to be productive.

KG and Rondo need to be productive and play well.

And we need at least 2 role players to step up and be productive.

All the while playing solid to great defense.

We really don't have that much room for error.
