The best defense against KG has always been strength over length, so I'd go with whomever can provide that.

KG can be defended by anyone quite honestly.... remember Lavoy allen was a nigttmare for him, that means to me Haslsem, Joel Anthony, Turiaf for starters will muscle him around
P.S did you call josh smith, elton brand and lavoy allen great defenders? thats funny...theyre all terrible

the Heat have as many matchup problems against us as we do against them...yes Wade will pose a problem now that Bradley is out, we have the bodies to throw at Lebron (Daniels, Sasha)...but we know that Rondo destroys Chalmers and Joel Anthony/Udonis Haslem have nothing on KG.

Remind me again where their clear advantage is?

UMMMMMM, small forward?  :D ::)

I'm a little worried about KG.  He is a toothpick and Anthony and Haslem do a decent job at standing their ground against KG even though they are shorter. It seems he does better against Bosh, but I hope I am wrong and KG goes off on the heat.

They will muscle him it's all they got.  KG is a great fadeaway and should be able to counter.  He just needs to man up and take the contact and go over them.  If he does that then they can't defend him if the refs don't swallow their whistles.   But if he shies from down low battle then you have good reason to worry.

I always thought KG fared very well against Haslem. Just shot over the top of him every time. Spent a lot more time in the low post than the high post because he was so comfortable turning and shooting over the top of the much smaller and limited-athlete Haslem.

KG can be defended by anyone quite honestly....

  If this was true the Celts wouldn't have won either series.

I expect Miami to be very physical with KG. KG has to win 4 of the 7 bar fights for us to advance to the Finals.

Really? Well if that's what you call defending KG well, I hope it keeps up in the heat series. KG has been dominant all through the playoffs so far.

Exactly, and KG owned him. He will destroy the heat frontline. He just has to be more greedy instead of passing up open looks to get his teammates involved. Be a ball hog KG!!! Channel Glen Davis in this series!!!

I think the question is less who will guard KG than How.  Phili had a good scheme to double him either with Rondo's man or Bass'.  Phili was athletic enough to get back to Bass mostly.  I expect the same from Miami.  KG won't shoot the mid range if defended and will pass out of the post if doubled.

I'm sure he'll continue to get a lot of open mid range jumpers on the pick and pop.
