It might help em get there....but it sure isn't going keep them from getting swept by the SPURS.

The only thing that can save the CHEATERS..is STERN & his cronies throwing the game to the CHEAT.

Other wise ...too bad so sad for LeBrick

No -- The Celtics still have a fair shot at knocking them out so long as Bosh is on the sidelines.

LOL

We are in a game 7 with Philly, and we have looked absolutely terrible in most of our playoff games... And yet you think we can beat Miami without Bosh...?

Where do I get those green glasses?

You can have a pair of mine.

Even though things look a bit bleak, don't forget that this IS Boston:

Perhaps my favorite game of all time.

"Never stop believing, Baby!!" - Doc Rivers.

"ONE MORE...ONE MORE, C's!! Let's go!" - Paul Pierce

I completely believed in this team when I thought Ray was coming back healthy... When I thought Bradley was healthy and capable of playing well in the playoffs... And when Pietrus was hitting shots...

They can have all the heart, "grit and balls", and all the inspiring pep talks from Doc, they cannot overcome the injury bug/father time.

Well, you're right - Father Time is undefeated, no question.

But that doesn't mean that throughout the history of the NBA he's gotten some bruises...I'd say that Father Time's gotten a bloody nose from Kareem, Hakeem, and KG.

KG's putting up 07-08 numbers in the playoffs. Pierce isn't that far off as well.

Folks around here concerned about AB...our loss last night..us getting old...BUT: Remember THIS article from Adrian Wojnarowski?

If BOS can close out PHI Saturday night, I absolutely LOVE our chances vs MIA - because of:

Remember last year's playoffs? Rondo's got a score to settle.

Just wait.

Miami are banged up too. They don't have Bosh.

I still think the Celtics have a legitimate shot at the title at this point. I've said it all year, but as long as the Celtics are able to be a top defensive team, they shouldn't be counted out of any series. Sure, waiting for Rondo, Pierce or KG to have a monster game is a dangerous offensive strategy, but as long as the Celtics can keep the other team around 90 points or less, they have a chance in any game.

Bradley isn't on the level of a Horford, Rose, Lin, Howard, Noah or Bosh.  Every team is dealing with injuries.  If Miami can make the finals with 1.5 players (LeBron and a gimpy Wade)... my hat's off to King James.

Celtics have their entire starting 5 active (I still consider Ray a starter).  All 4 of our big 4 are playing.  I know we're hurt... but we basically have no excuse to not make the finals.  We couldn't have asked for an easier path.
I am not comparing Bradley to those guys all I'm saying is how it effects us and only helps them. I gave us a good chance of beating Miami before he went down and now just a small chance...you need defenders like him the Sefalosha/Tony Allen types I think it's huge losing him.
