initial roster at the start of the year.

I mean we have bench players playing as starters and D-Leaguers for our bench.

Add to that all the injuries that guys are playing with currently and you have a team that is very unpredictable.

Some games we look like we can't be beat and other games we look like we should be a lottery team and it's frustrating but shouldn't be unexpected considering the schedule and the lack of practice time.

KG is playing center for crying out loud.

I know people and fans aren't high on Perkins but if he was still our starting center it would drastically change the roster's chemistry, spirit, and rotation.

Obviously if we don't make the Finals it's going to be disappointing but we shouldn't be knocking our guys considering all that is going on this season.

What the roster was at the beginning of the year no longer matters.

What matters is the roster that plays on Sunday.

Of course it matters.

Fans are expecting this team to blow teams out like it's '08 or '10 and this roster is clearly not as healthy or talented.

We had a slim chance of advancing past Miami when they were healthy.

Then Bosh gets hurts and we're thinking maybe we "should" be making the Finals....but not with 4 out of 5 of our starters playing hurt with no bench.

If the C's win on Saturday in blow out fashion everyone is going to be back on the bandwagon again thinking we're Finals favorites.

That roster isn't walking through the door.

I have complete faith in the roster that is out there to get past Philly if they would just hit their open shots.

Next round, we would have to wait and see.

I have faith we'll get past Philly as well.

We really should have won Game 6...had a 6 point lead and possession of the ball but ended up with a turnover in the 3rd quarter.

Everything snowballed from there and we quit on defense.

JO was a long shot all alone, so that really doesn't mean much to me. The Wilcox loss was tough, but KG has been better at center. The problem is that KG never wanted to play center until circumstance forced him there. In that sense, we benefited from getting KG to play C with Bass at PF.

Bradley earned the starting spot by developing as a player.

What d-leaguers do we have on our bench? Stiemsma was on our NBA roster from preseason. Pavlovic? Did JJJ or Moore play even a single d-league game (and they aren't playing in the playoffs anyway)? Pietrus was added using JO's roster spot and he has contributed a lot (though I suspect we still would have tried for him if JO was playing and not bothered with Sean Williams). Hollins has been in the league a while and has already played 314 NBA games. Quis is a vet who is just not used due to him not being effective.

Who have we really lost beside Wilcox and now Bradley?

I think the problem is that our initial roster itself just wasn't that great because 3 of our best players are old for the NBA. Even if we were to win it all, it would be through 4 difficult series.

No legs to finish games.

What this team has accomplished with all the set backs this year is phenomenal and it's a tribute to good coaching, a lot of heart and just as much toughness.

That being said, if Bradley were 100% healthy I think we'd have not a lot of trouble getting past Miami because he can give Wade fits all by himself.

Now, without Bradley, really tough I think. Especially if Doc leans on Ray vs. Wade.

But this team has suprised us all season - one game at a time.

Greg has played well and I'm a big fan but the guy isn't a legit bench player right now. He's basically a rookie at best.

Hollins actually has played in the NBA before but his talent isn't all that great.

All our bigs aren't that good....I mean they are only playing because we have no bigs! What other teams would these guys play on?

Bobcats?

Kings?

I actually think Greg will become a pretty good player as long as he stays healthy and keeps working. He can hit the open jumper and has good hands. He's already an above average help defender as well. But he's playing on some bum ankles too.

To think that this C's team is some juggernaut or whatever is expecting too much.

We're not as bad as our 2 games under .500 pre-AS schedule but we're also not as good as our post-AS game either.
