With Avery unavailable, and Keyon Dooling not adding much on offense, I think its time to give Etwaun a chance. Doc said at the beginning of the post season that Etwaun could potentially be valuable at one point during the playoffs. he has hit big shots on several occasions during the season and I think he should get some
decent minutes in game 7 and further on if we win.

I don't think so, we are going to see rondo get too many minutes, dooling, mp and maybe even sasha

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
While I do like E'Twaun to get some burn, I wouldn't mind Sasha filling in.

My take on E'Twaun is this man will have the fire to step up.  I've seen it a few times when he got the call. Not sure about everybody else though.

I think Doc should have developed EM to that level during the season and he could have--but didn't.  If anything EM seems to have regressed over the last couple of months.

I expect he's going to have to rebuild his credibility and NBA game through the summer league, training camp, and a full preseason.  If he does that I can see him in the team's top 10 players next year.

I also suspect at this point that he's at risk of being a throw-in on a trade.

thrown in on a trade, unless he really shows he can handle pg duties(backup) better, jjj might be in same boat next year, he needs to up his game and get some pt

I'll NEVER forget THIS game from E'Twaun:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnD51cMDSnw

The guy was "As cool as the other side of the pillow", in that game, as Stuart Scott from ESPN says. :)

Why not give him some run in game 7?

That was perhaps the starting point of folks around here starting to BELIEVE in THIS season...I think that was our first BIG win of the season, back in January.

And E'Twaun was a HUGE part of that 27-pts behind, on the road, comeback.

Wish we could've seen more from him, but with the development of AB I can understand Doc's reasoning.

But now is the time to perhaps revisit Moore.

Still use Ray...but keep Moore on the ready.

I'm betting he won't disappoint if called upon.

I wouldn't mind seeing Moore get a look in the next game.  I don't think the C's will have an issue getting him shots or hustling.  His D might not be the greatest but after last night's game where the Philly backcourt torched the C's guards, I would find it hard to believe Moore could do worse.

Game 7 is not the time to roll out the 2nd round draft pick.

I wouldn't mind this at all with Bradley out we really only have dooling to guard Williams, Holiday, and Turner. All small guys who get a ton of minutes. Not the type of guys you'd love having Pietrus,Quis, Sasha guarding.

When watching him play he doesn't lack confidence at all never seems to shy away from shooting and doesn't play timid. Its not the same thing as putting Bradley in the playoffs last year who would have been tripping over his feet.

Who cares that he's a second round pick? Im sure he doesn't. He probably thinks he should be playing over dooling and Pietrus

You do not go with the guy with no experience in game 7 unless everyone else is out.

I endorse this idea. Kid plays great D, has better handle than Dooling, and probably shooting the 3 better right now (Dooling airballs of late).  Why not give it a go? Who cares if it is game 7?

I think experience is a bit overrated no? We have so much experience on our team I don't see how Moore getting 10+ minutes is somehow going to drag this team down due to his lack of experience. With the experience our bench guys have and how horrific they have been playing I don't think "experience" automatically vaults them to being a better option at this point.

No

I dont see why Sasha Pavlovic hasnt gotten minutes though....Hes probably better than ray allen, mickael pietrus and marquis daniels at this point....is he hurt? makes no sense...hes a gritty defender and can shoot

When Holiday and Williams are on the floor together and maybe even Turner and one of those guys IMO the best guys on our team to defend are Rondo, dooling and Moore. Pietrus,  Daniels, Sasha are way too slow for those guys. Those guys are more suited for Lebron, wade, Melo, Durant, Igloudala, Deng type guys.

Not a chance! Much rather see daniels, Sasha, and Petey in over Moore. Our second round draft pick that hardly played all year isnt going to stop the playoff level basketball of the sixers guards. No chance.
