The Sixers are averaging 87 points a game this series. I'd tell a six-year-old that the Sixers are not coming anywhere close to scoring at will.

Sure.  You're p---ed off and after drowning your sorrows in a couple of shots of scotch or tequila, you vented about our lousy offense even though you know that Philly had the 3rd best defense in the NBA, that we're averaging a couple of points below our season average though we're pretty banged up, and Philly is averaging 7 points less per game even though they're pretty healthy. 

Our offense might be better when KG goes back down on the box, Rondo wakes up, Bass is more consistent, Ray Allen was able to elevate, and Pierce got the ball when he's the only one being effective.  Wouldn't hurt to keep Hollins off the court either.  One bright spot is that lesser players generally play better at home.

Philly does not do it at will. Both teams were missing shot after shot, our C's missed more.

In other words... we have pretty much one guy who can create his own shot (Paul Pierce) and aside from when KG is feeling up to it... we have no consistent low post scorer to dump the ball off to.  That might make our offense a little predictable.  I imagine if I'm Philly, I'm pretty pleased if the Celtics are living and dying with Brandon Bass and Rajon Rondo jump shots.  In game 5 Bass was 9-13 and Rondo was 6-10.  Tonight Bass was 2-12 and Rondo was 4-14.  

KG is the MVP of this team for a multitude of reasons, but beyond that I still say Paul Pierce is the 2nd most important player on the team.  When he's hurt and averaging 17 points on 39% shooting like he is in this series... our offense is gonna have a bad time.  Unless everyone is shooting lights out (like Bass in game 5), it's exceptionally hard to put up points in the playoffs without a reliable scorer who can create his own shot.

Simple.

Contrary to popular believe, our offense is not a fine-tuned-oiled-machine.  Our offense is quite simple.  We are a wing dependent team in the halfcourt.  RAllen has no wheels, PP has no knees.

So, is up to 36yr old KG or Rondo to carry the load.

1)Rondo isn't a reliable scoring threat
2)KG is 36yrs-old.  Can give you good scoring some nights.  Not eveynight.

  Philly gets easy baskets in the open court because they have young legs.  

The Celtics minus Bradley's ball pressure and young legs do not get out into the open court and do not get easy baskets because of it.  Ray Allen obviously isn't Ray Allen at the present time which allows hilly to smother Pierce and KG leaving us no viable option in the half court.

We shot 32% in the first half and with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter, 28% in the second half.

Well explained--up to the most valuable but not most important part, there you lost me as this team would be an embarrassment without KG.

I meant Pierce is the 2nd most important.  KG is clearly the MVP
