Don't understand why people want the Pacers. They are killing Miami on the boards and we have not played them well at all this year. Rebounding is our Achilles heal.

We played Indiana four times this season and split the season series.  But the games we lost were the first two against them early on in the season when the C's weren't playing so well (so long ago that we were still starting Jermaine O'Neal.  ;)) The last two times we played Indiana we won handily both times.

1/27 - Celtics win 94-87
4/5 - Celtics win 86-72

The Celtics are a better defensive team than Indiana and have more dangerous weapons on offense (Rondo, Pierce, Garnett.)

In a seven game series Miami boasts the two best players on the court each night depending on how Rondo is playing.  That is not something anyone should want to face.

Indiana mainly because I don't want Wade or Lebron to go off on us. And we match up pretty well with Indiana. Say Miami wins, and Bosh comes back, that's another person I'd be afraid of. I believe in KG's strengths vs their bigs, but I think we can actually contain anybody in Indiana including Granger.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
I'm sure Kevin Garnett will be a very mean man against Hibbert.

Problem is, I don't like the 6'10 shooting guard, Mr.George, that  will be a problem child if we play the Pacers.

Overall, besides George, we match up pretty well.

I like Marcus Smart

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Indy.

Miami not winning the title is a good consolation prize for me in case we won't make it there.

I pick Indy just because I like the concept of Miami not even making it to a conference finals, and the meltdown in South Beach that would ensue.

I don't like to count my chickens before they've hatched but with the way miami has shown it's mental weakness these last couple of games im almost tempted to say them.

Bosh coming back might tip the scale in the other direction but i think this team is very fragile mentally.

If the Celts could put them in an early hole i think they would have a hard time recovering.

For me, either one.

Just let us get past PHI...they won't go quietly.

But the way BOS has played since March? When we've played our best, we can beat anyone.

Don't like to look past this round,  but its looking like we match up with the CHEAT better .

I would rather play the CHEAT , just so I don't hear any crying about no having to beat them to get to the finals.

Just thought about this...

Sadly, I must chose Indy, here.

They seem the most likely to NOT hurt one of our players (Rondo's elbow, Collison's push from behind by Wade).

I just want a clean, honest series - whoever we play. However, I believe that we'd get that from Indy and not MIA.
