Boy would that shot have been sweet.  But nice finish.
Would have erased the three by Williams at the end of the 1st quarter.

Let's institute an auto-ban for anyone who makes a "Chris Paul would have" post again.

Rondo destroying haters even on Celticsblog.

Celtics go 32-16 in the quarter and all anybody talks about is how they didn't finish strong enough because of a fluke three.  It's so painful to read these forums sometimes because of the overwhelming pessimism even when we have our fist down their throats.

Can someone explain how having a bum ankle affects standstill free throw shooting?

Have you ever shot a free throw? The motion goes from your ankle, to your toes, to your legs then you use your wrist. Ray goes up on his toes like most.

Great half. I like how in control we've been. We've been dictating the pace.

His heels do come off the ground when he shoots his FTs.

When you shoot, you raise your whole body, from the feet to the chest a little bit so that you can be closer to being in line with the basket, to gain more precision..

Ray has bone spurs on his ankles and every time he does that it causes pain that affects his release, so that's the reason behind his poor FT shooting.

By poor, I mean poor for him.

Like I said.

This team finally showed up with energy, passion, and a purpose.

They were sleepwalking through the last 2 games.

Right on show. TP.
