If not as a player, then to take Donnie Marshall's place.  I really like the work he's done for CSN the last couple of nights.  He's articulate, and unlike Donnie, he adds actual insight about this team.

I didn't know Scal's been on TV  philosophizing about the game and the team.

I'll have to tune in and see if I can catch him.

Nothing earth-shattering, but I'd love to see him join Comcast full time.

I'm with you Roy.  I really like Scal's work as an analyst.

Just had this exact thought watching Scal on CSN Sports Tonight.  I've seen him do a few comentary appearances since the Bulls were eliminated.

Scal's broadcasting career is just beginning.  I believe his contract is up, and who's going to sign him?  I imagine Chicago is ready to develope some new young guys.  Especially with Rose out for most of, if not all, next season.

I expcet Scal is going to make a good career for himself in this line of work.

If not as a player, then to take Donnie Marshall's place.  I really like the work he's done for CSN the last couple of nights.  He's articulate, and unlike Donnie, he adds actual insight about this team.

I'd definitely agree with this.  My only question is, will it continue?  He knows these guys because he's played with the key guys.  What about when they're all gone except for Rondo?  Playing with them gives him an edge as far as insight.

I did like how Scal was with Maxwell in getting on Felger.  Dumbass Felger believes KG is playing at this level for his next contract.  They told Felger that he is unequivically wrong.  It was rather cool to see.

I wish CSN would just fire Felger already.  I refuse to watch much of him at all.

Scal's biggest initial contributions would be shedding insight into Doc and the key starters on the current team, but I get the sense that he'd put the work in to keep up to date with the team's personnel.

Scal is an 11 year veteran who has won a ring, and who has played beside multiple all-stars, an MVP, and a DPOY.  He's probably seen a lot that would be interesting for viewers.  Certainly it's more interesting than seeing Donnie Marshall criticize our stars.

I've always enjoyed Scal's interviews, I imagine he'd fit right in as an analyst.

I'm with you on that.  With Tommy's impending retirement, they need to be grooming a replacement.  Donny Marshall doesn't do it for me, or, judging from what I read on here, for most other Celtics fans.

donny tries way to hard to come off as cool and an insider which he is not.

Tommy has put him in his place a few times this year. He is even worse as an announcer during games.

I love how Scal called Felger out for knowing nothing about bball!
