We were all wondering in the middle of the Atlanta series why Doc wasn't playing Stiemsma all that much...I think we're all starting to see why.

Keep in mind, he may be hitting that traditional rookie wall.  Had this had been a regular length season, he'd be right on schedule.  It just looks worse since we're in the playoffs.
