What does a missed dunk have to do with guys still playing.....as they have for 10 years.....smart passing, moving, DEFENDING......if a missed dunk stops your whole game...you might want to try another sport or profession....

Cannot believe after that first half that Boston still couldn't come out with some energy and put this depleted Hawk team away.

The Celtics body language honestly looks like they are just stunned and not sure what to do.  It looks like they are playing on a road back to back instead of a home playoff game with 2 days of rest.  The offense is disjointed and has zero ball movement.  They are owning the free throw line and still can't pull away.

The longer Boston lets Atlanta hang around the more likely the Hawks are to steal this game.

Come on guys enough is enough, WAKE UP!!!

Really impressed with Teague all series, and especially tonight. He is FAR and away the best point on the floor tonight.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

That missed dunk by Avery really messed up the momentum.

Now they're just being careless with the ball, taking bad shots, not playing good defense.
that is an odd blame on bradley....

yet you say who is ray covering, when he has barely been in the game, and has yet to allow a shot to go in . But keep going.
defense is always the same....offense is a lot diff..you should be able to ALWAYS cover your man.....so ray was out....this is the playoffs.....and we are getting beat by easy open baskets...

I hate Teague's face. He's a baller, but he thinks he's something else. Waiting for Bradley to readjust like he did in game 2.

Come on, Celtics, we need a little defense. Time to bring Pietrus & Quisy in?

Go Celtics!

You should be hating Rondo for getting out played

will someone please explain to me what the Celtics half-court offense is supposed to be ?

are we reduced to tossing and dribbling it around the perimeter for half the shot clock and then watching the last guy who ends up with the ball go one-on-one for a contested 15' jump shot ??

do we not have any patterns we can run, maybe a couple of plays ? i watch San Antonio in constant motion with ball movement - can't Doc steal a couple of their set patterns so we have at least a chance of the ball going inside or maybe even getting an open jumper ??

Quote
"Our spacing is horrendous. Clearly, without Ray, they’re using both guards to just sit in the paint. And we have to do a better job of creating space. It’s tough when you have two guards they’re just not guarding. And that makes the difference for Kevin.’’

Credit to Hawks defense and Hinrich. Haven't seen a team defend Rondo this well since the Lakers series in 2010.

huh ?
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Rondo takes his time getting the ball up the court with 6 seconds left so we can't get a good shot. ::)
