I knew something like this would happen. Just because they're missing players and you're at home tied in the series doesn't mean you take them lightly. They need to come back in the 2nd and keep it going. No excuses tonight at all.

This isn't about the Celtics not taking this one serious. This game was never going to be easy, and anyone who thought it was, was kidding themselves. It's a 48 minute game for a reason. If these Celtics can't beat a severely depleted Hawks squad with even Ray Allen back in the lineup in 48 minutes of basketball, then that would be quite sad, but anyone expecting it to happen within the first 5 or 6 minutes, or even the first quarter, are just being outrageous.

Celtics offense looks absolutely putrid to start the game against a depleted Hawks frontcourt.

The C's should easily be able to exploit a Hawks lineup with Dampier and McGrady on the floor.

17 first quarter points is terrible offense and definitely not the high powered start the Celtics seemed poised to come out with
