they look good, but they are also playing the jazz, so I wouldn't get too excited yet

Spurs and OKC are tied as the favorites to come out of the west. Heat are the favorite to come out of the east with the Celtics right behind them.

I think they are the best "team" in the West. Much more dangerous than they were last season. They really need OKC to beat LA for them though.

yea pretty much they've won something like 11 straight and it probably could have been more if Pop hadn't rested some of them

They don't play good enough defense.

I have three teams comfortably ahead of them in the West in OKC, Memphis and the Lakers. Those teams are the frontrunners for the West in my mind.

I have San Antonio and Dallas as outside threats for a title although Dallas are pretty much out after losing the first two games against OKC (very tough to win four out of five against that OKC squad given the Mavs roster).

Their defensive ratings and statistics are similar to OKC/LAL, why do you see such a difference Who?

I think they're the favorites, though they'll face some serious match up issues against Memphis, OKC, Lakers size.

They dealt with those teams well overall in the regular season , Spurs record against their potential future foes:

(4-0 Memphis, 2-1 OKC/LAL/LAC)

celtics vs spurs

KG vs Tim Duncan

battle of the power forwards. it would be great for true fans of the game, but the tv ratings wouldnt be so great since everyones a bandwagoner of the heat or okc these days.

Yea I was about to say I don't know about the numbers but from what my eyes see they look pretty solid on the defensive end and rebound really well

battle of the power forwards.

Two PFs who actually play C! KG has only been doing it for a few months. Duncan has been a C for like 9 years but refuses to admit it.

This was my first thought exactly. Yes they look great, I mean they are always capable of being great... The Thunder look mighty good as well, however, while playing against the defending champions.
