Just think how much better this league could be if they had decent refs

I'm glad we didn't pick up Bibby, he needs to retire b/c he is playing like he already has...
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

The knicks aren't responding to the challenge very well right now.
I have a hard time seeing them winning a game on the road in this series.

After this, can they even win one? I expected more fight even with these "refs"...

Chandler got a flagrant 1 for setting a hard pick on LBJ.

not sure how much fight you can have when one team gets to pretty much mug the other one and the other team can't engage in legal basketball.

They were already being blown out due to awful rotations and terrible offense like that.

NY is a mentally weak team that couldn't adjust to how the game was being called.

That and an utter lack of a backcourt has killed them.

hey, im not out to defend NY on this, i think there weak too but the game was already out of hand by then.

When the flagrant 2 (reduced to a 1) happened, they were being outshot 25-5 at the FT line.

Yeah that call was so bad I think its going to overshadow the poor response by the Knicks to a few previous offensive fouls.

BTW it was an regular foul, Chandler was using his upper body to lean into a pick. He was just called for using his arms on a pick earlier, once you've been called for it once you have to be smarter.

I thought it was borderline at best, and in the playoffs a foul i'd like to see let them go (no excuse for other heat players not to call the pick out)

but to call that a flagrant 2 was such a joke...

Yeah the flagrant was a joke, I couldn't believe after reviewing it they didn't make it a regular foul.

Here's the play in a GIF, you can see Chandler isn't set at all and leans his entire upper body into LBJ. Its the KG to Pacualia sort of pick, definitely a foul.

A casual NBA fan asked me if I thought the C's had a better chance against Miami (than Chicago) and I said, "Not if the refs give all the calls to LeBrat and Wade."

This is what is wrong with this league. Amazing that everybody in the world can see it except that that out-of-touch senile idiot in the corner office. If Stern had retired in 1998 that would have been about right. Now he's just trolling.

I just can't take this league seriously anymore.

I watch less and less and less as time goes on.  Honestly, I think the only thing that keeps me coming back to this league is that I like this blog (maybe Pierce as well).  I'm so used to checking Celticsblog, at times I have to watch some of the games so that I have context for the discussion.

But every time I watch a game I see gross inconsistencies in the officiating and get too disgusted to enjoy it.  Which stinks, because I really enjoy the dynamics of the sport.

1. Knicks stand no chance
2. Lebrick will shoot more FTS in this series than the Knicks as a team will
3. Never seen a guy as big as james flop and act like he gets bullied

OH MY GOD, you couldn't believe the acting by lebron...sooooo weak.....he has the refs following him on twitter......this is NBA inside stuff at its best......any NBA player, present and past has to hate this league now......lebron has the "if i have the ball it is a foul" thing going.....then even a pick by chandler that was a flagrant, which..well it was a foul....but did he roll, flail, dance, jump and cry, hold his neck..it looked like he got shot......then, he was okay.....in an instant....why..a ....miracle....the NBA or CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING....you decide.......! Artest needs to hit lebron with a chair.....lebron is almost dead, then he gets up, and is fine, and goes to the line......the crowd loves it, and buys a bunch more lebron/artest gear....=Stern = success..!!!

Thanks for posting my exact feelings. Saved me lots of time.

My wife (who knows nothing much about BB) happened to see James flopping and faking the hit and pain, then jump up like nothing happened and hit a 3 pt shot with two guys handing on him was amazed the refs could believe the acting and pretending to be hurt it was so bogus..... I didn't know if I should laugh or cry .

I know if I'm upset with the lopesided calls in favor of the CHEAT , then I can't imagine how the New York crowd feel, they must be out of their minds mad with rage .

That was one of the worse called games EVER since I've watched NBA, and it was SO lopsided in favor of the HEAT ??????

If the games are going to be called by giving LE CHEAT 30 trips to the foul line a game, then WHY even play the game ?  The game is joke the refs just HANDED the game to the KNICKs on silver platter.

Lets just give the trophy to the CHEATERS and it a year.
