Not surprising, Ray was really favoring that leg last night.  I'm sure it's pretty sore after his first game back on it

If Ray is coming off the bench I'd like to see him shoot a lot when he's in. They need to feature him as soon as he's in.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Did i hear the commentators right that Ray himself asked Doc to come off the bench? If so then that just shows how professional Ray is and that he's willing to sacrifice to make the team better. Classy move by a classy guy.

I'm not surprised at all by Ray being the one to suggest coming off the bench for the team. He has always been a true professional, and he doesn't allow his ego to get in the way of helping the team.

Why did we expect an OLD Geezer like Ray to heal. He likely won't be perfect for the rest of the season.

  • You say when......
Whether it is on purpose or not..it could be genius by doc....first, bradley is now not only a strong cutter / scorer / slasher, but also he provides lockdown D on their best guards....2nd, Ray now gets to exploit the other teams 2nd unit..and the other teams coach now has problems..and on the 2nd unit, Ray could get an easier D assignment..making his scoring even easier..! A winning situation for us..! Now if we can get Hollis going...!

I agree with your last statement about Hollins.  I'd love to see him start getting enough floor time to at least handle a few minutes a night in the playoffs.

He could be like a poor man's Chris Wilcox.

SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas

TP.  Agree. This way we start games with great energy, KG and PP get more touches and Ray doesn't have to compete as much with KG and PP for shots which should get him into a groove.  It's a win win.

Ray reportedly told media that he asked for the change and he had been floating on court for some time now. Good professionalism, as expected from Ray.
Actually, his role didn't lessen with this move. It received a push upwards.

I'm sure Doc is also very happy that KG still needs to be as active on offense as he was when Ray was out.
And we rotated quite well that of our four core players, for much of the game, there were at least two on the court at the same time to maneuver the offense.
