If we beat the 76ers tonight, are we 6th in the East?

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
We are half a game behind.
If we win, our record is 26 wins and 21 losses and their record is 26 wins and 22 losses.

I think we will be tied at 1-1 or they will be ahead 2-1.
Do we move into 6th seed in the East if we win or does it stay the same until we have played an even amount of games?

With win we move up to 4th seed because division leader is guaranted place in top 4.

Do you know if this affects our draft position or is our draft pick (our own one) based on the actual wins/losses/overall record?

The playoff teams are placed in the reverse order of their record.  Ties are broken by random drawing.

Right now NBA.com still has the Philadelphia 76ers as the 4th seed in the East for some strange reason. Either way, if we win tonight we'll have a better record than they do going into the weekend.

it's about whoever wins the division so if boston beat philly tonight they're the 4th seed
