We need two men in the paint, that is evident at this time.

I think if Sheed is in good shape, he would be a help to us seeing the difficulties of the market and buyouts.

He has 37 years, but still can provide rebound and defense.

I'd take him.

But he is going to offer pretty much the same rebounding as JO.

I do think that his defense would probably be the same and he is better offensively. PLUS he is not made of glass.

This is assuming that he's only taken a small step back from a couple years ago and not a gigantic one

Rasheed has worked out for teams like the Heat and the Lakers and they thought he couldn't help them.

Plus, does he want another NBA gig? I don't think so. From what I read he's willing to make a come back as long as it's to play for a contender.

I'd take him.

But he is going to offer pretty much the same rebounding as JO.

As a Celtic, Rasheed Wallace had an 11.2 total rebounding %.  That dropped to 10.6% in the playoffs.  That number was 12.6% (11.8% in the playoffs) last season and 14.0% this season for Jermaine O'Neal.

If JO were healthy enough to play, Sheed would be a clear downgrade in the rebounding department.
