Haa HAA HA ... sssssuuurre... If Danny had the green light on the other side ....he'd pull the trigger faster than Billy the Kid .

Everybody loves Rondos skills , but they don't want the headaches that come with him.  ;D

Of course they aren't going to come out and say they are shopping Rondo to the world...that lowers the value.

I still think , Danny is just waiting on the right deal and he is gone.

Rondo needs to get his  "MIND RIGHT" on who is running the ship.

Yeah, I'm sure Doc and Danny are lying through their teeth.  On the other hand, when some hack writes a story full of speculative hearsay by unnamed inside sources it's the gospel truth.

I believe Doc.

Broussard, Amico, Vecsey, hoopsworld, etc aren't what I consider reliable sources.

I'll believe the rumors when sources like Ford, Wojo and Spears start reporting them.

I do think we are shopping everyone else though.

Agree with this...the only rumors circling around right now are ones from the most unreliable sources out there.

I agree as well.

Jackie MacMullen who I will believe ANY day over that Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. Chris Broussard just confirmed on Around the Horn that Rondo isn't being shopped. Been on the phone all day with Doc, Celtics front office and GM's who were interested when Rondo was being shopped last season and no one knows anything of it. She also said the Celtics front office were not happy with these rumors. I'm sure the Rondo haters will say this is all lies and a smokescreen but whatever. Point is no credible source has come out and said anything. Everyone just took it and ran with it.

Chris Broussard and his "sources"? Really? Okay  ::)

Well, I guess I'll be careful of any articles with unnamed sources...smh.

I wonder why ESPN even bothered to post it if no one would step forth and claim it?

+1

I have no doubt Danny will trade Rondo if it's the right deal, but this BS going around about him being a locker room cancer, ect. is just getting ridiculous.

Well, it looks like they plan on keeping him and Building WITH him. I love how sports pundits and radio talk show hosts say "You can't build AROUND Rondo he can't shoot da ball! *Sneer*"
Build Around =/= Build with.

I can say is I am glad all the Rondo haters are not our GM.   Some are so bad they want to trade or blame him when he has a triple double.

ESPN needs to create content to justify charging people a subscription to their "Insider" info.

Its really ridiculous. They will find a way to blame Rondo for ANYTHING. If he scores 30 he's shooting too much and taking players out of the game. If he doesn't look for his shot, he's padding his assists stats. Some would find a way to blame Rondo for world hunger if they could.

The guy is nowhere near perfect but he is an AMAZING player. How many players could lead their team to a win in the playoffs with ONE ARM? Short memories some of these Celtics fans have. I for one am extremely proud he's a Celtic.

He has 3 of the 8 triple doubles in the NBA this season but we should get rid of him. Seriously? This forum has become nauseating with all the Rondo hate.

But see - that's the confusing thing about Rajon...

The game before - vs a CLE team deprived of Anderson Varejao...with Kyrie Irving missing some portion of the game due to his finger injury, etc etc - and he goes OH for Six??

Then he turns around and goes for a Triple Double vs one of the better defenses out there in MIL.

At times, he DOES seem disinterested out there. CP3? Deron? Russell? Derrick? They will eat your lunch if you sleep on them - guaranteed.

Will the Real Rajon Rondo please stand up?

And once he stands up, PLEASE remain standing - for the next 5 or 6 years?

If we've learned one thing about Doc & Danny, it's that you can't trust a word that comes out of their mouths

So he's not allowed to have a bad game? How many bad games has Paul Pierce had this season? Ray Allen? KG? Why is Rondo the ONLY one crucified for it? Everyone has bad games.

I hate that I have to defend him like this because it makes me look like I'm only a Rondo fan when in all actuality I'm  a fan of the Celtics as a whole but the way people talk about him is really just unfair.

.. In all that time we did not talk once about any trades," Rivers said. "There was not one single thing about Rajon Rondo that crossed my desk."

When I lie this bad I usually look at the ground and sorta kick the dirt a little with my right foot

The funny thing here is that I even remember reading or listening to a piece about the great Bill Russell - and how even HE didn't go after every shot block.

I remember him saying something along the lines of "By not blocking EVERY shot, I lull my opponent into a false sense of security" or something like that.

So I venture that Rondo just channels his inner Russell - a LOT.

Perhaps this explains how he can seem disinterested at times.

its funny, doc/ainge say they arent trading rondo...they are lieing..

brousard or some 3rd party says rondo is on the block...and it's gospel

I doubt Doc/Ainge/Macmullen all would lie and say Rondo isnt being traded if he was going to be gone in a matter of days...likely what happened is this..Ainge is listening to calls and seeing what teams would offer for Rondo...if its not a slam dunk for ainge..he wont pull the trigger.

CP3 is a whole other story because he is a legit top 5 player in this league...but I dont see ainge dumping rondo for anything less than an upgrade
