After the Pistons game I really think he is going to be gone soon. I wouldn't be that upset.. I mean I love Rondo but without a doubt he is a flawed player. On top of his flaws he has a bad attitude. I think that has boiled over with people like Pierce.. But doing that to your team when they do need you in order to gear for a come back was selfish. Idk what these next couple of weeks hold but should be intereting. I can't wait to hear rumors i love this time of year. I just think Rondo is going to go for a piece that helps this team a lot more then he can right now.

Now is the worst time to trade Rondo.

Right now, he is at a low.

If the Celtics want to trade him, they need him to play like Super Rondo (like he can for a couple weeks at a time).

Should've traded him after the Bulls/Pistons game :P (the first ones)

When you see the majority of poster on here singing his praise, that's the time to trade him.

If we're aware Super Rondo is an occasional and irregular event, why aren't NBA GMs?

I don't think his form influences Rondo's value at this point. It's more about one of the GMs that values him more having the assets/willingness to make a deal. Not sure who those guys may be. Larry Bird is probably one of them.

"It's selfish for Rondo to get ejected for the first time in his career in a regular season game against the Detroit Pistons". Overreact, much?

Look, what happened was wrong. Rondo should've kept his composure. He didn't but let's not act like this is unprecedented or he's the only hothead here. Pierce was ejected in a playoff game last season against Miami - why not call for his trade? KG grabbed Bill Walker by the throat earlier this year, and was not even suspended - where's the outrage?

If Rondo is traded and it isn't for a star that can help in the future, it would be a mistake. This season - there's no fixing this season, we can't do a temporary patch job on roof with a giant hole in it and expect it to work.

The Celtics would likely not get the value that many on here thinks Rondo is worth at that point, but it would be more value then the Celtics would likely get at this low point he seems to be at right now.

Rondo was suspended for 2 games because throwing the ball at the ref is something he has done 3-4 times before.

Basically, it was just the culmination of a pattern of him being a hot-head with a bad attitude on the court.  Just add it to the long list of reports about Rondo's attitude issues (the last one being the thrown bottle thing).

If Rondo's suspension is grounds for wanting him gone, then face-stomping Luis Scola is a reason to not want Kevin Love as a Celtic.

A 230lb professional athlete in his prime attempting to deliver a roundhouse punch to the jaw of an idiot fan was reason enough for not wanting JO, IMO.
