Trade:

Washington trades: Monta Ellis, Wes Johnson, 11.25

Philadelphia trades: Kevin Martin, Andris Biedrins, Jordan Crawford

That's a whole lot of flawed players moving around.  Kevin Martin is probably the best NBA player, if you surround him with good defenders.  Monta is the best player, on the other hand, but he's hard to make fit.

Martin next to Wall and Ellis next to Andre Miller?  I'm not sure that I love either fit.

i think martin is surround by really good defenders. and he's tallerand better fit than monta at SG

Ah, okay, I'd forgotten what your team looked like.  I feel better with the Martin pickup based upon who the front court is.  Noah and Ibaka will erase a lot of his mistakes.

I think you have a fairly strong starting lineup now. Probably just outside the top 10.

What a difference a day makes. That's three straight trades Washington has come out ahead on. Would anybody be mad if I give them either Indiana or Detroit playoff spot? (Boston isn't making it with Varejao and West out. Sorry Edgar.)

I think Washington's bench might still stop them from making the playoffs.

Another subtraction by addition pick in my mind.  Having him and Charlie V. on the team downgrades the Pacers quite a bit from my perspective.  I'd rather see role players, or no players at all, than cancers and malcontents.

Anyone else think Kobe's 'LEAVE PAU ALONE! CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE PAU ALONE?!' statement was a good note not a bad note?

Pretty insensitive, Roy.
