I'm adding more defensive presence, athletiscism, and toughness up front:

Joel Anthony adds that for me, as well as Finals experience.

Aaron Brooks / Andre Miller
I really like that Aaron Brooks + Andre Miller combination at point guard.

Should Brooks come off the bench, and look for his own shot?

Kind of think the starting five offense might be better with Miller running the show.

Is Udoh ready to start at PF?

Is Andris Biedrins off the board?

I think he's available.

But it's cruel to force him to continue to play basketball when he obviously hates it.

He's going to cry after every practice of banging with Howard. Maybe a "who is the worst free throw shooter in the league" competition with Dwight afterwards will cheer him up.

Kyle Lowry is expected to miss the next three weeks due to a fractured eye orbital. He was hit by a free throw attempt at the end of practice yesterday. Earlier in the week an assistant coach was knocked unconscious and several ball boys have been hurt in similar incidents.

Sorry Edgar, hope this guy isn't in the oven but my time is expiring...

Filling a forward spot Minnesota selects a guy who can play both ends a little and is on the upside:

James Johnson

Sigh. Patrick Patterson.

I meant to ask you about him - as our resident Rockets specialist, how's Pat Patterson looking this season? I liked what he was during the end of last season but it doesn't appear he's really progressed past that.

Good pick. A guy i looked at earlier, but he plays for the Raptors, and I don't trust that bunch.

Yeah, I was thinking the same (about starting A.Miller) but Aaron Brooks and Kevin Martin worked well together in Houston and I don't think they'd have any problem incorporating Danilo Gallinari. Spencer Hawes is a help too because he is such a good passer out of the low post, elbows and high post.

I think I'd leave it as is. The combination I would be most worried about (Kevin Martin + Aaron Brooks) has already proven to work. I wouldn't mess with a good thing.

I would use Udoh as a part time starter (18-22mpg) because I think that is where his size and defensive abilities have it's highest impact.

Thanks...he definitely helps. Marc's a good defender, and DWest and Rudy are ok...but Joel rounds us out, IMO.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
I need a SF. Here's the most generic basketball player I could think of:

CJ Miles.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.
