For their sixth-round pick in the 2012 CB Pick-Two Draft, the (LAC) New England Ninjas select 6' 6", 210-pound Small Forward from the University of North Carolina ...

 ... Danny Green.

This. This is exactly why I wanted an extra 6th in the top half. I hate you all, I hope you're happy.

Trade:

Nets trade: Delfino + 7.15
Thunder trade: Reggie + 6.28

Good trade for the Thunder.  I think Delfino is a much better player.

Agreed. I gave up the better player in the deal. Delfino doesn't really fit my team too well after adding Kirilenko. Needed another shooter plus some more front court depth with 6.28

Yeah but...you're not talking AK-47 back here until next year, if at all. So you're basically playing Thad Young out of position (he spends less than a third of his playing time at the 3, and historically is a better 4), and making up the rest of your time with whomever you nab at 9.15 or Reggie Williams.

And Williams is a good player..but as a 3, he'll be a bit of a sieve. The guy is 6'3 without shoes on.

Fair point. Honestly more than anything in this draft I tried to get depth in the front court. I think I've done alright in that regard. Ever since the 5th round when Grant Hill and Budinger were taken right before me I really haven't figured out exactly how I want to work the SF position on this team.

Reggie Williams is a good player in the sense that he's one of the top 500 or so players in the world, and made the NBA.

As an NBA player, though, he's not good.  He's a 39.8% shooter this season who doesn't add much in terms of rebounding, passing, or defense.  In fact, his defense is approaching "worst in the league" levels this year, ranking 374th in points allowed per possession.

That's not "good".  That's closer to rotten.

This year he's been bad, but he's being asked to be the #1 scorer on a (quasi-legitimate) NBA franchise.

I was hoping he'd be available late in the next round. Would've made a great backup for Kobe Bryant. Very nice pick. Really good value at this stage in the draft.

wdleehi selects Robin Lopez at 7.2 and I need to get my jaw off the floor and finish up my letter-bomb to Bahku.

Let's see what he can do now that "Money" Maggette is back, who I saw posted a -39 +/- in 20 minutes last night.
