I believe that pick 6.20 went to Start Orien as part of the JR Smith deal

YES!
Who did you trade JR Smith to?

The one team that absolutely did NOT need an instant offense, no defense player with sporadic defense:  the Carmelo/Big Al Rockets. ;)

I call it the rich getting richer
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Tyson Chandler, third or fourth best center in the NBA,

Wait, what?

I originally wedged a question mark in there, but it looked awkward. If you want to knock him down a little further I'm fine with that. Fifth or sixth? He's hit his stride and he passes the what-have-you-done-for-me-lately? test.

Howard, M.Gasol, Bynum, Gortat, Duncan, and when Aldridge and Pau are playing Center he's even further down.

Okay, so comfortably sixth? Although I considered Duncan, Aldridge and Pau Gasol all power forwards by their own preference and including Gortat on this list just seems like gamesmanship on your part. But we can leave that an open spot for a healthy Bogut or Noah or whoever.

It doesn't really change my original point.

So Lin is playing better basketball than Lowry. And then fair to say that you'd have to take Stoudemire over Millsap, Anthony over Prince, and Landry Fields over Brandon Rush? So does having the NBA's best center instead of Tyson Chandler, third or fourth best center in the NBA, elevate this team over the actual Knicks?

I don't know. I do know that if you draft Steve Novak I'd feel a lot better about things and probably bump you up a spot in my final rankings. Like A LOT.

Which is that IP should draft Steve Novak. I don't know what he gains by stubbornly refusing to see that?

You know why.

YOU KNOW WHY!!

Redz has pick 7.13.  He's got one guy in mind.

If that guy isn't there, the Pistons are trading the pick.  There's a public offer of a 8th + 9th for that pick plus an 11th.  Beat that offer, and the pick may be yours.

To be clear, if the Cavs make the best offer, they get the pick, regardless of any perceived conflict of interest.  This is going to be a strict auction situation, so your offer should start with something better than 8.11.

lol. Cuz, the Cavs are maybe making that offer?

Thus, why I'm publicly advertising the auction very loudly and very clearly.  I won't be pulling the trigger on any trade until Redz' guy gets picked, though.

This is fun. Well, there is also a player I want, not the same player as Redz let's hope. If he's still on the board... the Portland Trailblazers will offer 8.15 and 8.17.

Bogut and Horford both get a place above CHandler.

According to this draft, Bogut isn't even worth Andy Varejao without a 2nd round pick :P. When healthy he's better, but that's a big if.

As I mentioned to another GM, I didn't quite take the math aspect of all of this into account when mentioning the auction, but consider yourself in contention.

I can't be the only guy who would take Chandler over Gortat, ten times out of ten?

Slept way in on my day off. My bad.

I know a lot of Celtics fans hate this guy, but I think he's defensive prowess and improved jumpshot is eventually going to turn this kid into a stud. One of my favorite college players, and I don't care if I could've waited to get him. Kid is sick.

Sacramento Kings draft...

Avery Bradley
St. Louis Bombers (formerly Sacremento Kings)

PG-Tyreke Evans/Avery Bradley/John Lucas III
SG-Nick Young/Rudy Fernandez
SF-Linas Kleiza/MarShon Brooks
PF-Al Harrington/Kenneth Faried/Reggie Evans
 C-Roy Hibbert/Ian Mahinmi/Jason Smith  10.18
