I honestly don't know enough about splitter and his game. I like the fit of Gallo being a stretch 4 in some situations to give Howard more space to operate, and whats not to like about lowry and howard.

I had mixed feelings about Gallinari at the four alongside Dwight Howard. I don't really like Gallo as a full time PF. Love him as a starting SF and part time PF but not a full time one.

However, I was very worried about matching up against that combination. Gallinari's quickness and ball-handling makes him what Rashard Lewis should have been in Orlando (only he was too passive to be that). Not only a shooting threat and a transition threat but he can take opposing bigs off the bounce too. Very difficult to defend.

It's unclear just how dangerous it would have been but it had great potential depending on how the rest of the roster filled out. They needed talented enough offensive players to avoid opposing teams hiding their PF on one of their wings and leaving their SF on Gallo. And needed guys who can defend and rebound their position. That offensive talent + defend/rebound may have been hard to acquire, I don't know. But if they could have done it, it had great potential.

Gallinar's offense at the four. Lowry's dribble penetration at the point. Then Dwight in the paint. Shooters everywhere. Defending against that would have been a nightmare. And defensively, they still could have been really good despite playing small at the four. Probably wouldn't have been much of a rebounding team but they would have been so effective on offense and defense that it would've been worth sacrificing some boards.

Not that he's enough, but I really like Dorrell Wright's game. Even if he is struggling this year.

He's having a bad, bad year.  He's been borderline horrific on defense:  308th in the NBA in points allowed per possession.  He's regularly getting out-shot, out-scored, out-rebounded, and out-passed by his opponents.

Offensively, he's been mediocre at best.  Coupling that with his terrible defense, I don't think Wright is a very useful player at all.

Where do you get all these stats Sir Roy? And I agree that he's having a bad year. He's struggling right now but he'll pick it up. I don't know what happened to his defense but he was solid last year. Maybe it was part of the struggles.

But he's good enough to open the lanes for "Derrick Rose South". I get to move up to 4th since i gutted the team to get Westbrook. Not like Iggy and Conley is gonna bring me anywhere anyway. At least I got a superstar to work with.

You barely move up in the 4th compared to how far you move back in the 2nd and the 5th.

Yeah, but at least Im not picking at 4.28 tomorrow. This team is toast. But I have Westbrook, I'll work from there. Because Conley, Iggy and Caron will bring me in the same place anyway. There are a few gems in there, hope I can land them.

I really like where Oklahoma is post-trade. Their balanced lineup is very impressive. Not sure it's an improvement or just a lateral move yet. Regardless, it's in a very good place and I like it very much. Looking forward to seeing how they fill out their roster.

It feels like Philly paid a lot for Westbrook. They have a tough task ahead of them filling out that roster but if they do so well they could upgrade their team. Next 2-3 picks are very important.

Dorell Wright is a finesse three who is incapable of matching with the physicality of opposing SFs. This regularly puts him as a disadvantage defensively (why his defensive numbers and performances are poor). He is also a weak rebounder at the three.

The combined vulnerability in terms of defense and rebounding makes him a low level starter at SF. D.Wright is best suited to being a big two or a first wing off the bench.

You could keep him at the three if you had a starting two with physical toughness who is a high level defender. Dorell Wright needs to be your second best wing defender. Someone else needs to take the main assignment.

I definitely prefer Gallinari over Prince by a wide margin.  However, Millsap + Prince is better than Gallinari + Splitter.
