Any team with Carter, Budinger, Wright, Green, etc., probably isn't in the conversation for best defense.  And yes, I know what Carter's stats suggest.

With three players missing and Irving's lack of experience this team will go just so far this year and we knew that going in. However, next year and beyond, I have to think they are contenders for it all.

Yeah but this year is gonna be rough. Irving is a great young talent, Deng is having a career year, and Bynum is just sauceome, but your depth chart this season looks like:

Irving/Hill (solid duo)
Fields/Hill (Fields is having a pretty bad year)
Deng/Fields
Humphries/Bass/Bonner
Bynum/Bonner

You've got about as much depth at the 5 as I have, and Bass has been injured, Humphries is maybe the most overrated 4 in the league (or he was, until he torpedoed it into booes he in all fairness does not deserve), and Bynum...well Bynum has been a beast this season and is your best player. Plus, he's only missed 2 games so far this year due to injury IIRC.

I dunno, its a good team going forward. Very good, with the potential for great depth.
