Anyone else want Rondo off the floor right now?

  • Rondo = Good
Late 4th quarter, tight game, Celtics look the same, regardless of the opponent.  Cringe-worthy.

Rondo is a very good player, but in these situations, he's really not very good.  For all of his ability to facilitate an offense, our offense always breaks down in these situations, and I have to blame him for that somewhat.

I would've liked to have seen Ray dribble into a three there instead of giving it up to Rondo.
Either that, or give it STRAIGHT back to Rondo. Dribble for 3 seconds = 3 seconds less to "create". Also, the rest of the offense was static, no one was moving. I didn't even mind that Rondo tried the shot, there was nothing else to do.

Lakers go ahead on a tough play inside at the rim; Celtics keep missing jumpshot after jumpshot, and ball movement breaks down with everybody hanging out away from the basket.

Guys, this is what people are talking about when they say our team desperately lacks an inside presence on offense.
You are spot on to make it worse all of jump shooting = no rebounds

Don't understand what Rondo is doing. Trying to fun down the clock?

Well, if the jumpshots fall, we may win.

RAY!
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Ray Great Day.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
