86/87 team = 87/88 team = 11/12 team

if anyone remembers the 86/87 and 87/88 teams with dj and ainge and their thighs wrapped in white tape and chief and mchale with black sleeves over their ankles...and...holding your breath every time chief and mchale hit the floor...then...you LOVE this team...every win is a gut check win with them willing their way to victory...enjoy it while you can...this is a special season in the making...you watch and see...

Difference is the 11/12 team stars are still physically fine.  87/88 team was a physical wreck..

Still can't believe the '87 Celtics beat the Pistons in that series.  In retrospect, I kinda wish they would have lost that series since they lost in the Finals anyway.
We all think we know more than we really do....
