espn just reported that dwight doesnt want to follow shaqs footsteps,and I think thats great because I picture dwight as more of a bill russell type. not saying they well have the same kind of career but its possible and when shaq came to boston he turned out to be a huge disappointment.http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumors?&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnba%2ffeatures%2frumors

Shouldn't your title be "Dwight may not be interested in the Lakers" then?

The way the Lakers have been playing I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't at the top of his list, but given all the different ways he's talked about things I don't give what he says much credence.
