  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Garnett. I'd take ray or pierce too but prime Garnett on this team, with prime rondo? i'd love to see KG throw down an alley all over blake griffin haha

He would make some of the kids these days look foolish, so sad he was stuck on that Minny team all those years.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

KG.  The numbers too but mainly the defense.  We'd win the title.
Paul or Ray at 28 would make this Celtics team an awful lot of fun to watch,
but we still wouldn't have the bigs to get it done,
and Paul or Ray would be easier to neutralize
by the nasty SF defenders of the world.

Teams would have no answer for 40 minutes of maniacal KG.

KG, primarily for the increase in defense over Paul at the same age ... Paul can still put up the offensive numbers much more comparable to his 28-year-old self.

True. Paul Pierce is timeless.

Garnett.  The 34 year old Paul Pierce is much closer to the 28 year old Paul Pierce than the 35 year old Kevin Garnett is to the 28 year old Kevin Garnett.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
KG without a second's worth of thinking.

KG in his prime was the best player in the NBA at that time and he just might be today as well.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Uhh...I'd still take a 28 year old KG than a 23 year old Pierce/Allen.

With them being 23 years and everything, they won't be in their primes yet. We could win it all now with a prime KG, but be more of a prospect team with a young Pierce/Allen.

If anyone said anything besides KG, they're insane.

"Kev-in Garrrrrrr-nett!"
Basketball-wise, business-wise and fantasy-wise, it's KG hands-down..
28-yr old and 36-yr old Ray Allen are basically the same, and 28-yr old Paul Pierce was a bit more arrogant and more selfish..

I think the better question would be , which 28 yr-old Big Three wpuld you rather have, Garnett-Allen-Pierce or Wade-James-Bosh? hmmmm...

Definitely KG! If we had a 28 year old KG now, we'd be right up there with the best teams in the league.

We would be the best team in the league honestly. Remember what he did with Sprewell and Cassell? Sub in them for the current versions of Rondo, Ray, and Paul and it's title 18.

Kg is a once in a generation player the way he could guard every position, play a full 48 min, and dominate both ends of the court. He was truly an incredible talent.

Rondo.  By then he'll be as good a shooter as Chris Paul.

No... not really.  Obviously KG.  He was a dominant statistical player in his prime.  There was nobody even close until LeBron joined the league.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Kevin Garnett without a doubt. 24 points, 14 rebounds, 2 blocks, 5 assist per game. He was 28 when he won his MVP right? That's the KG that I want.

Since where here. Imagine a 28 year old KG and a 28 year old JO (when healthy of course) playing together. Boy, the rebounds belong to us.

PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

I wish we had KG a lot sooner.  KG and Pierce together for their prime years... :o

I think we would have won several championships.
