As always, it's always about the price. Cheap, short contract? Sign him up.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
It's probably just the fact that we missed out on him in the draft, but I would love to see Oden on the Celtics. He would be completely healthy and dominate the NBA for the rest of his career  ;D

He should go to Phoenix.  Those guys know how to rejuvenate careers.

Seriously, though, if we get Oden and re-sign Jeff Green and they both turn out to be the players they're expected to be... that's gon' be crazy!

Is he playing this season or is he hurt again?

Pretty sure he's out for the year. At least he'll be cheap and well-rested?

It would have to be for the smallest contract possible. No way would you pay 6 Mil even for a year if this guy can't get off the bench.

Oden needs to search out the best of the best doctors right now and see what up with his body and find the best way to maintain it.

If They got him right, and cheap next season and he works out, yeah bring him in with Green would Rock. But I just don't see him healthy the way things are going.

He's making JO look like and Iron Man...

3 years for a total of 12M
If he can play 25min/game, 75% of the games, should be enough....

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Right now Greg Oden is playing beer pong and listening to a very certain Will Smith single from long ago, and it ain't 'parents just don't understand'.

He will walk into a starting gig with bigger personality players and a proven winning system. He will at once have the opportunity to keep his head down AND be lauded as an important difference maker.

. . . and then he will injure himself no later than 15 games into the season and miss extended time again.
