We've all talked about Bradley and Moore.  We given kudos to "Air France".  We've praised the rejuvenation of Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett over the past week plus.  We've even talked about the great depth we seem to have found along the way.  All of that was well deserved and earned over a tough week of playing without some of our best players.

What we haven't really talked about is the amazing coaching job Doc Rivers has done this past week.  Doc River has mixed and matched line ups and driven us to wins without some of our key players.  He's called all the right plays and mostly made the right substitutions at the right times.

Give it up for Doc Rivers!  We are very lucky to have such a quality coach on our side.

Not even Doc can turn Bradley into a NBA player on offense; but he has done a great job. Working with what he has and inspiring the bench to come up big. Just have to get Marquis back to where we all know he can play.

It goes without saying but DOC RIVERS is the best coach in the NBA Right now.  Nobody is better at getting players to play hard or getting players to believe in the team.  Chris PAul made a colossal mistake by not wanting to come here but if available Dwight Howard won't make that same mistake.  GUARANTEED he wont!!!.

Avery Bradley is a jump shot away from being a very solid rotation player.  Whether or not he can find that only time will tell but he is already better and making a bigger impact then a whole lot of people thought he'd ever be.

Right now he is a defensive specialists who can pressure the ball as well as anyone .  That's not a bad guy to have coming off of your bench.

Yeah, his defense is amazing, and it is clear that his off-court persona is really gelling with the team. He has all sorts of intangibles that the rest of the team is loving.

I still hold out hope that he will become less of a liability on offense. He will probably always be a little turnover prone, but his jumpshot looks nice, and he has shown some great slashing and driving skills, he just needs the confidence to knock down shots, finish around the rim, and the instincts to pass out of shot to open teammates.

  • You say when......
I was going to post something like thei...I think doc has turned the corner in terms of coaching..to a new level. His matchups and rotations are quite impressive....He is making the most out of what we have..! Wonder what will happen when all come back...some say bradey has no offense...he is one of our best slashers currently....his shot is average. Stil need to get steamer in the offense, he proved he can shoot better than most, look at his avg %..need to play JJJ also....

  • It's all about the TEAM!
I think Doc gets guys wanting to play for him and believing in the system. That's probably half the battle. The guys want to do well for Doc.

I also heard it said a few games ago, I forget which. The announcers said the team had a team meal and Doc went around to each player and told each of them in front of everybody what their role was on the team. I think once Doc gets everybody comfortable with their rolls and the guys start to gel at it, it becomes a strength that most teams lack.

We came into last years playoffs hurting badly and not being as focused as 2010. This year, I think we have the right mix of young and old and complimentary players. I think if we come into the playoffs healthy and matured into their roles, we could be a handful for other teams. The other teams may have better players, but Doc creates better teams.

I think Doc and the crew are on the right track!
