The way I look at it, a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush. I'd rather have Henderson than any combo of Bradley, Giddens, Johnson, and so on.

He's come on strong under Silas, so I doubt Jordan will trade him, but I think he'd be a terrific fit on this team and for the Cs long-term. Would Charlotte take:

1) The Daniels trade exception, plus both our 1sts this summer & cash;

or:

2) Bradley or Johnson + Pavlovic or Moore (to make salaries work) + cash for him?

I might even add a pick to Option 2. The picks in Option 1 are likely to be low, but the Bobcats are a cheap / value driven franchise. I'm sure i'll get shot down for this. Anyone else have ideas of how to land him?

I wasn't talking about what the Celtics are giving up in the trade.

Just that there aren't enough minutes available for G.Henderson to make much of a difference to the C's chances this season. It's a bad spot for him ... being caught behind Ray Allen.

Tough to make a (large) difference when you're only playing 12-15mpg.
