The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Sprint tipped off 2012 NBA All-Star Balloting today during a special event in Orlando, the Official Host City of NBA All-Star 2012. NBA All-Star Balloting presented by Sprint will begin today at 12:15 PM ET. The 61st NBA All-Star Game, which will air live on TNT and ESPN Radio in the U.S., and reach fans in more than 200 countries and territories in more than 40 languages, will be played at the Amway Center on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012.
[blah blah PR stuff]
2012 NBA ALL-STAR EASTERN CONFERENCE BALLOT
EAST GUARDS
Allen, Ray, Boston
Rondo, Rajon, Boston
EAST FORWARDS
Bass, Brandon, Boston
Garnett, Kevin, Boston
Pierce, Paul, Boston

Not a bad haul. I think 4 will make it by coach's ballot.

Rondo in by the crowd. Dunno about the rest, though Ray might get some loving with the way he's been on fire.

I found it funny that Bass was nominated and Big Baby wasn't.

Unfortunately I couldn't vote for him but nice to see him on the ballot. Stiemsma was my write-in vote  :P

If Bass becomes an all-star...Otis is gone.

I forgot about the reserves...he could very well become an all-star this season.

Otis is gone no  matter what. Losing Shaq and DH is enough to leave a man unemployed.

I think Rondo, Pierce and KG makes it but Ray Ray might/not make the cut this year

what makes you so sure that paul can make it this year with Melo and Lebron in the conference now?

its just a feeling, no idea why i feel that way though =\. It'll be cool if all 4 makes it again but I don't see that happening again, either Paul or Ray will make it but not both

Starters : Rose-Wade-Lebron-Melo-Howard
Reserves : Rondo, Pierce, Amare, Horford, Joe Johnson
Last two spots may go to KG/Ray/Bosh/Josh Smith/Chandler/Granger/Iguodala/Deron/John Wall

Yeah. Rondo and Pierce are practically locked. Ray and KG...IDK.
