with peirce coming back it shouldnt be that bad. but im with the op he doesnt look good running the offense, people like when he makes those 3's but i think its really hard to find someone who can run doc's offense off the bench. delonte also struggled at times but he would be better then dooling i like dooling as the off gaurd.our bench is solid though would like to see marquis run the point more.

dooling and bass remind me of powe and house x2

4 games.

4 games into the season and already cb has multiple threads condemning/cursing/praising/ exultating players such as...

- dooling
- bradley
- oneill
- johnson
- garnett

threads the celtics should blow everything up or hang ainge.

patience please before posting threads that are either apocalyptic or orgasmic about celtic players.

dooling needs to learn the offense, then maybe he wont be lost. let's wait and see as he learns more about the team.

JO had a good game...and some bad ones. let's wait and see.

and so on and so forth. patience and reflection please fellow posters.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

agree with you completely. eventhough it's a shortened season i do think there's still time to build the chemistry and have the player re-establish their rhythm. everyone on the list have a chance to progress well except... avery i guess. but that's just me i still think that besides his spotty defense i don't think that his offense will ever improve. :)

  • It's all about the TEAM!
I'm happy with him so far. He's had his moments both good and bad. I think everyone is learning new things right now and learning how to play together and what will work the best, including Doc. If we get into real game shape and start to gel, I'm not worried about these guys. I was more worried about the bench we had last year. We might actually let the starters rest some this year without everything going to pot every time we take them out of the game.

Agreed:

We have seen some wild scores around the league. 30 pt blowouts and then teams coming back and beating playoff teams. Very erratic start all around. We have a lot of new players to integrate. The ones that are thriving like BBass have not been trying to do it within the system they just are out there to rebound and score. Doolings job is going to take more time to master.

The lack of practice time this season has been bad for the NBA.  I thought our veterans would give us an edge but now I am not so sure.

As I recall he drained 20 points that one game.  I don't miss Delonte one bit.  He would be hurt right now with a sore thumb or the like were he here.  West hasn't made much difference in Dallas has he?

23 mpg  for 6.8 points and burning hot .33% FG percentage.  His three shooting is even better at .22%.  4 APG and 1.5 TO's.

Keyon is playing 19 MPG.  He is averaging 9.1 PPG on .381% FG and .42% on three pointers.  He has 1.8 assists per game.

Call me crazy but I don't miss that West.  I miss David West not Delonte.

And David West, just back from surgery, is shooting .367 so far--he'd be pilloried here.
