So refreshing to watch a PF actually complete the "roll" part of the pick and roll, with KG it takes him a solid 5 seconds to collect and "roll"

Yeah.  I miss pick and rolls.

My 6-6 in first 12 games might be a long shot

KG isn't finished, but I think he's in his "38-39 year old Hakeem" stage at this point.

Yeah, I think 5-7 might be more realistic at this point.

maybe it's just me but the lone bright spot tonight was Steimsma looks like he's a pretty decent pick up by Danny.

well here come the rookies.  let's see what they can do

Stiemsma is a nice player but he's a non factor offensively, just like JO.  For that reason alone I couldn't advocate including him in the starting lineup.  Not getting enough on offense from the rest of our starters right now to justify putting a one-dimensional guy like that with the starters.

I'd actually advocate starting Bass or Wilcox (when he's back) over JO or Stiesma.
I'm not advocating he start, just that e looks like a decent pickup when I thought he'd be a stiff.

I agree.  I like Stiemsma, and in past years he would be a great role player to have for 10-15 minutes a night.  But playing 20+ minutes in games like tonight I think he hurts as much as he helps by not adding much of anything offensively.
I think that's on the PG's not looking for him much.  Ideally, the C's would have had a better scoring bench.
I would like to see the C's bring Steimsma back next year as a backup center.  If Danny can add a starting SG, PF and C with cap $ next year, bring Ray back for the bench and hopefully some development from JJJ and Moore, I think this team could do ok.  I think KG and JO may be done this year or at best, KG has to come off the bench for short minutes next season

he played way too many minutes in the first two games of the season.  same for Ray.

We knew these back to backs would be brutal. The Heat just barely escaped tonight. This is going to be an ugly season and whoever wins the Championship this year will be the survivor with E in the gas tank.
