I was amazed the Lakers didn't get into Bynum every possession down the stretch.  Nene couldn't even bother him.
Gave up deep position too easily and frequently.

Nene doesn't put in enough effort defensively. Really irritates me.

Tries to skate by on 70-80% effort levels (defense) and isn't good enough to pull it off.

Nene taking it a little easy after his new contract. ;)

Denver shot 7-26 from three. LA was 2-24. A combined 9 for 50. 18 percent.

The shooting is really awful in some of these games.

So inconsistent, no idea what type of a game any team is in for on a night-to-night basis. Teams cannot rely on their jump-shots at all. Some nights the shots are there and others it's butt-ugly brick and after butt-ugly brick.

This condensed schedule brings hot and cold nights to a whole new extreme.

Nice crowd of around 500 at the Pistons game today...  Geesh, they should just move that team.  The Bad Boys era is dead and gone, and this is one boring basketball team.

Not sure what Lawrence Frank was thinking...seems like apathy in the entire town toward this team.

Noticed that too.  But would you come to watch that team?

That's a shame but I guess a painfully crap team will do that.

They used to have such a ferocious home crowd. Was watching the 2008 ECF's the other week and it was a mad house there.

Half the Dallas rotation looks out of shape: Odom, Carter, Kidd.

Kevin Love hitting multiple step-back 3s off the dribble!  Did not know he had that in his game.  If only he could play defense.

Kevin Love is a very, very good player and people better recognize.

He's not an uber athlete but the guy does so much on the court.  He's so productive.  What other player in the league could haul in 17 rebounds and nail 5 threes?  Even on a bad team, putting up 20-25 points per game while grabbing 10-15 rebounds is incredible.  The guy is one of the best big men in the game, he's really young, and now he's got a great passing point guard feeding him.

I think the much maligned T-Wolves are finally on track to being a really good team.  Rubio + Love is a duo you can build around.

The T-Wolves offense is very explosive when they have Rubio penetrating and Tolliver, Love at the big positions.  Great floor spacing, great playmaking from Rubio.

How much longer can Adelman start Ridnour over Rubio?  Rubio is average 8 pts, 7 assists, and a steal and a half or so in 28 minutes.  Give him 36+ and he'd average a double double.

Another question -- who is a legitimate challenger to Rubio for RoY?  Could we have two Rookies of the Year in a row who were both taken in the same draft?

The '09 draft, which was supposedly so weak, has given us Griffin, Rubio, Curry, Evans, Jennings, DeRozan, Ty Lawson, and Jrue Holiday.  Absolutely loaded.

They really need some defensive quality with Love seeing so many big man minutes though.

Love plays somewhat like a poor man Larry Bird...  Would Love to see him on Boston some day before he gets 38 years old.
