The other thing to me is that Bass goes to the hoop with alot of aggression as opposed to Baby who tended to get to the rim and fade away or go for a reverse and get stuffed. Bass uses his body much more effectively. I think this is another reason why Bass is more efficient.

They both drew free throws at roughly the same rate last year, the both finished at the rim at near identical rates last year, they both took around 3 shots at the rim a game last year, and Bass was around 10% more accurate on his jump shots than Baby last year.

I don't think how he uses his body has much to do with it, its the fact that he makes all those long jump shots at a much better rate. Bass is been shooting more at the rim than he has in the past for his career but its still very early hopefully that continues.

Bass is in a contract year isn't he? Look for him to continue being aggressive he is laying it all out there still playing within himself though and tons of heart

He can opt out at the end of the year and certainly will because he can make a lot more than $4 mill a year.  So yes he is basically.

Let's be honest Baby was a pain in the ass.  I think Bass will be the biggest upgrade possible at any one position based on the obvious improvement in terms of athleticism and team chemistry. 

Baby was entertaining and clutch in a couple of playoff series but this team doesn't need his drama..

I really hope BBD improves his game in Orlando and contributes to DH wanting to stay.  I hope Dwight reverses this trend of superstars opting away from the franchise that invested in them.  Mostly, I would hate to see Dwight in LA.

Based on what?  Your opinion?

Davis  in 21 MPG is averaging 7.3 PPG on a scintillating .358% FG and 3.8 RPG and .3 BPG.

In 28 MPG Bass is averaging 13.8 PPG, 5.5 RPG and .7 BPG om .525% FG shooting.

I think Bass would eat baby alive.   I do miss Glen's post defense but Bass is by far the superior offensive player.

Maybe, but since there isn't a one-on-one Pro basketball league out there what does that matter at all?!

I also am not sure I agree. Bass would face him up and actually hit HIS shots. BBD has a similar scoring game as Bass, only Bass does it better. Bass also jumps much better and so even if he got backed down in the paint by BBD's girth he wouldn't score over the guy. We've all seen what BBD under the basket to a taller or better jumping player means...

I am so happy with the upgrade over BBD I can hardly stand it. Bass is a stud and much more of a complete player than BBD ever thought of being.

This is a little confusing, because you mention a high ranking...then mention players doing better than him...then say he's doing good lol.  I wasn't trying to say that there was anything wrong with his fg% though.

Sometimes watching him play you'd think his fg% was in the 60s because he seems to hit everything.  Its just that his propensity for getting blocked, recovering his blocked shot, and going back up brings his % down.

Bass was probally tired of DH crying and being spoon fed everything he wanted .  Bass wanted out of that DH love party ...leading nowhere with that crowd of losers.  Big Baby fits right in with them.

When you shoot third best on your team, after the worlds best shooter and the worlds craziest layup maker, that's pretty good.

But yeh, he does get blocked a wee bit, and it would be nice if he'd pass out when triple-teamed.
