is parting ways with Maccabi Haifa.  I remember seeing a special on him a few weeks ago and it seemed like he's matured.  If he has (matured), then I think it would make a ton of sense to sign him to back up JO.

An email sent from Haifa to the media said the following: 'Sean Williams unilaterally informed the team of his intentions to leave Israel in the next coming days.' In Haifa, Williams posted averages of 12.8 points, 7.9 rebounds and led the league in blocked shots with 4.1 per game. 

Despite a problematic background coming into the season, Israeli fans and those of Haifa in particular, extremely enjoyed Williams' presence in Nesher (Haifa), on route to becoming a fan favorite.

If we can afford him, I'd jump at the opportunity.

As a BC fan I love Williams and I want him to do well, but I think he is a great shot blocker, but not a great defender.  He also has a very limited offensive game. 

For a vet min contract I guess I would take him but not much more.

i have an irrational love of this player, for some reason.  Now that Massachusetts has turned marijuana into a ticketable offense instead of an arrestable one, Williams might be a good fit in Boston.

Seriously, if he could buckle down and take the game seriously, Williams would be perfect here as the 4th big (in competition with Wilcox).  He's get three buckets a night from Rondo alley oops.  Defensively, playing him with KG would be awesome basket defense.

I have a very rational hate of this player, as I do with most players who do not understand the game of basketball. 

I am OK with the drug thing, and I think guys with no basketball IQ, but off the charts athleticism can find a place in the league.  When you put them both together, I don't want to go near them.
