Wow, I'm gonna get blasted for this post..but what the heck..!  saw he has no contract for the NBA, and was just offered one from a minor hockey team..!  Was he any good, his stats look decent actually...27 mnutes, 10 points, 10 rebounds....younger guy, 6'9"...Hmm, well, what do you think..?

You don't thnk he would accept small $$$..? It looked like he was an unwanted....but at 6'9"...if he was a real center / height, it might be diff...!

I would say if we still had the mini-MLE, then yes. but he will want more than vet min. And if he does, He'll go to a younger team.

waive sasha......sign przybilla & Stevenson to vet mins (don't tell me deshawn won't take the vet min because he was just about to take the vet min from the mavs but they was not interested in him) or we can just get keith who can be a soild defender and shooter off the bench

This guy was and is a career underachiever IMHO. He is the one that took Troy Murphys (after he was injured and trying to rehab) job as starting PF for the Nets last season. Then Avery Johnson spent the season trying to motivate him and justify the move when the Nets were obviously just trying to save cap space for this years FA signing.

he is going to get paid.  he is just waiting for things to shake out, but he will be getting at least the MLE.

He averaged a double/double. Not too shabby. The only thing that is stopping NJ from signing him is the Dwight Howard deal, in which case he could easily be a sign and trade to make that deal work. If not the would resign him for more than we could offer. He might be interested in Boston; but Bass might actually be more versatile.

....But we like our PFs as Centers around here. I mean, according to Doc, Garnett will be playing it otherwise. Bass will play it too...

I wouldn't mind having Humphries on our team. I don't think he is going to get huge money.

Ditto. Humphries will get paid well, maybe not BBD money, but MLE type money. C's can't afford him right now.
